Hi everyone! We had a successful short trip to Minnesota on April 27th and 28th to see doctors there. Jaycee's craniofacial plastic surgeon feels that he has done all that he can do for Jaycee right now. The next time he would want to do surgery would be in a few years. He has referred us to a facial nerve specialist in Salt Lake City since most of the fatty tissue in Jaycee's cheek has infiltrated the facial nerves. We will keep you all up to date once we have plans to head to Salt Lake City. We have a great peace that God is going before us and leading the way in all of these circumstances. Well, we finally did it! We started a blog to keep people up-to-date on our lives both here and overseas (when we eventually get there). We can share pictures and tell people what is going on by posting our information on the blog. ITS A BOY!

Tammi Lynne and Rodney Kent Dyrud had a baby boy last night Sun Sept 28,2008 at 11:46pm. His name is Justice Kent Dyrud; he is 8 lbs, 20 1/2 inches long and so far the health baby we (Tammi and I) have been praying for. Thank you for all of your prayers. Here is one of his first pictures. I am currently working on getting a video posted.

Spring/summer has arrived!

My first drink out of a big boy cup at almost 20 months old My first goatee..................... well, more like chocolate ice cream :) Today is our last holiday before the end of school. It has been in the 80s this weekend so we've started (finally!) putting away our scarves and hats and mittens and pulling out our shorts and tank tops. On Friday we went on a field trip to downtown Sherbrooke. We did a scavenger hunt where we had to ask people on the street (in French of course) to give us directions to certain buildings in the city. We were in five different teams and each team had different questions. Then we all got together at the end of the morning and shared our results; it was fun :-) We are also in the process of planning our trip back across the US at the end of June. We hope to see many family members and friends on our way back to California.
