Shopping

Dear Family and Friends~ A little reminder to keep in the back of your mind as you start your Christmas shopping (I know, I know, it's not even Thanksgiving yet). When you are purchasing things on-line (at any time of year, not just Christmas) please shop through our website! The address is http://www.sendthemforhim.com/files/Groups/Dyrud/categories.html

All you need to do is go to our website, make a choice from the lists on the page (apparel, automotive, jewelry, etc.) and start shopping. That's it! You don't pay anything extra and we get a portion of the proceeds sent to our ministry account with MAF! Pretty neat :-)

Thank you for using this unique method to help support our ministry as we serve with MAF.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Love, Tammi

HERE IT IS!

Well, we finally did it! We started a blog to keep people up-to-date on our lives both here and overseas (when we eventually get there). We can share pictures and tell people what is going on by posting our information on the blog. This means no more mass e-mails :) People can subscribe to the blog and then everytime we post something, it will be sent to you automatically as an e-mail (at least, that's the idea, if we can figure it out). We hope this works as a good communication network to stay in touch with people. There is also a way for you to post comments on our blog.

ITS A BOY!

His name is Justice Kent Dyrud; he is 8 lbs, 20 1/2 inches long and so far the health baby we (Tammi and I) have been praying for. Thank you for all of your prayers. Here is one of his first pictures. I am currently working on getting a video posted.

Spring/summer has arrived!

My first drink out of a big boy cup at almost 20 months old My first goatee..................... well, more like chocolate ice cream :) Today is our last holiday before the end of school. It has been in the 80s this weekend so we've started (finally!) putting away our scarves and hats and mittens and pulling out our shorts and tank tops. On Friday we went on a field trip to downtown Sherbrooke. We did a scavenger hunt where we had to ask people on the street (in French of course) to give us directions to certain buildings in the city. We were in five different teams and each team had different questions. Then we all got together at the end of the morning and shared our results; it was fun :-) We are also in the process of planning our trip back across the US at the end of June. We hope to see many family members and friends on our way back to California.
